More doctors and not the right one

So, an update as to my current situation. I have been referred to yet another psychiatrist. This will be the fourth one that has seen me since this all started. I am starting to think that no matter what I say or do, the dean and the college board is never going to believe that I'm 100% not crazy.

The last one seems to think that my trouble all extends from my being "too smart for my own good" and that I'm getting this run around because my multiple doctorates and various other degrees intimidates the board. I sort of agree. I have done more in the last 10 years than they have done in a lifetime.

I think I need cheering up. It seems the BBC America channel is playing a non-stop Dr Who Marathon in preparation for the first episode with Peter Capaldi's Doctor this weekend. I think this calls for some popcorn, my 15 foot long scarf, a sonic screwdriver and my couch.

Tried watching that show once... Went right over my head!

I've seen every episode right from episode 1 and the very first Doctor. Netflix is my friend. It's also how I watch my Original Star Trek and Babylon5.

... Never even heard of Babylon 5! Netflix you say? Might have to look into that.

It was a series too. I guess you just aren't as into Science Fiction as I am.

More like I've not really had time to watch TV! Least I didn't.

When you do have time, just find what you like. I like SciFi but you might like other things

I actually like SciFi, like a little fantasy and action a bit more, but like I said I've not has much time the last few years. But now I'm out of a job I can watch more TV! So I can catch up on all these shows I have no idea about!

I find it amusing that you look to the Doctor to cheer you up after talking to so many doctors.

It sounds as though at least that the last one has a clue. Perhaps they can intervene on your behalf?

I would rather a Mad Man in the Blue Box to psychiatrists any day. At least with the Doctor, I would go on adventures through time and space.

Perhaps. I will have to talk with him.

I may have to rethink this year's donation if they are going to be spending my money on such frivolous pursuits.

I have a few places it could go instead if that's what you choose. There is this wonderful Math and Science Camp for little boys and girls, to foster their love of it. I was thinking about volunteering there over next Golden Week.

I just emailed you the information if you want to look it over. I'm planning on running a little battle bots robotics lab this coming season. Put that MIT doctorate to use.
